Purpose

Planning permission has been granted for a new
residential housing development, which is currently being built on
land adjacent to Poplars Park Road. As part of the planning
permission there is a condition that requires the implementation of
Traffic Calming measures on Poplars Park Road. This has been deemed
necessary in the interest of road
safety in the local area.

Content

i) That authorisation be given to prepare and
advertise a Traffic Calming scheme on Poplars Park Road,
Bradford.
ii) That any valid objections to the advertisement be submitted to
the Bradford East Area Committee for consideration or, in the event
of there being no valid objections the scheme be implemented as
advertised.
