Resolved –
 

(1)  
    That an Appointments Panel
to appoint a permanent Director of Public Health be established,
and such panel should comprise of at least three Elected Members
with the membership to be on the nomination of the Leader of
Council and Leader of the Conservative Group and in consultation
with the independent groups (and shall include at least one Member
of Executive).

(2)       That the
Appointments Panel work closely with the Faculty of Public Health
to follow due process to appoint to this statutory
position.
