Purpose

Report to seek Executive's endorsement to
Bradford Bus Hot Spot schemes funded through the Governments
Levelling Up Fund 2 (LUF2).

Content

Resolved –
 

(1)       That the
Executive resolves as follows:

(i)    That the proposals as set out in Appendix A to D to Document
“T” be approved as the Council’s current
programme of projects to be delivered using the Levelling Up Fund 2
funding for the Bus Hot Spots programme.

(ii) That
the Strategic Director (Place) be authorised to manage the scheme
programme as appropriate to meet any changing circumstances and
ensure delivery of the programme to the funding
deadlines.

(2)      That
delegated authority be given to the Strategic Director          (Place)
in consultation with the Portfolio Holder to:

(i)  
Progress and develop the scheme proposals
through the West Yorkshire Combined Authority Assurance Process and
undertake appropriate consultation on the scheme
proposals.

(ii) Consider
any objections which may be received in association with the
Traffic Regulation Orders required by the programme determining
whether to uphold or overrule such matters as
presented.

(iii) Be
authorised to advertise any necessary legal orders required to
facilitate the delivery of the projects.
