The Health and Wellbeing Board is a
collaboration between Bromley Council and various partner agencies
whose role is to understand their local community’s needs, agree
priorities and encourage commissioners to work in a more joined up
way. As a result, patients and the public should experience more
joined-up services from the NHS and local councils in the
future.
Health and wellbeing boards are a key part of broader plans
to modernise the NHS to:
- ensure
stronger democratic legitimacy and involvement,

strengthen working relationships between health and social
care,

encourage the development of more integrated commissioning of
services.
The Board brings together Bromley Councillors,
GP’s, Public Health, the Clinical Commissioning Group and the
Voluntary Sector.
In accordance with the Council’s
Constitution, members of the public may submit one question each on
matters relating to the work of the Board. Questions must have been
received in writing 10 working days before the date of the meeting.

2027: 5pm on Thursday 8th April 2027
Questions seeking
clarification of the details of a report on the agenda may be
accepted within two working days of the normal publication date of
the agenda. The deadline is given on each
agenda.
At special meetings, only questions relating
to reports on the agenda are taken.
