Public Protection and Enforcement Portfolio

The Public Protection and Enforcement Portfolio is responsible for all the Council's executive functions relating to community safety, environmental health and trading standards. These include partnership with the Police, addressing anti-social behaviour and youth offending issues, drug action in partnership with the health authority, food safety, public health nuisance including noise and pollution control.
