The Equality Impact Assessment at Appendix 1 of the report be
noted.
 
2. 
The outcome of the public consultation at Appendix 2 and 3 of the
report be noted.
 
3. 
It be noted that the Council Tax Support scheme from 2025/26
restricts the calculation of entitlement for working-age claimants
to 50% of the households’ Council Tax liability.
 
4. 
It be agreed that the Council Tax scheme is simplified from April
2025 as set out in paragraph 3.2 of the report.
 
5. 
It be recommended to Council that the Council Tax Support scheme
from 2025/26 increases the Discretionary Hardship Fund to
£260k per annum.
