1. 
Acceptance and spending (DWP grant
estimated at £1.14m per annum
over five years), be authorised in line with any requirements of
the Council’s Financial Regulation, related to the Connect to
Work programme, as outlined in the Committee Report; including, the
recruitment of a Connect to Work Lead Officer to lead the design
and implementation of the programme and establish an employer
engagement team to initiate the recruitment of employers for the
Connect to Work programme.
2. 
Authority be delegated to the Director of Housing, Planning, and
Regeneration to allocate grant funding for the delivery of the
Connect to Work programme as they become available.
