That the award of the 4-year Educational
Psychology Services contract be agreed.
 
That this contract award be approved on the
basis that the mini competition held through the Crown Commercial
Services Framework identified a best value supplier with the
highest-ranking tender on both quality and financial grounds.
 
That it be noted that the outcome of the mini
competition held through the Crown Commercial Services Framework
aligns with the proposals set out in the report presented to the
Children, Education and Families PDS Committee on 17 September 2024
to develop a long-term mixed delivery model of Educational
Psychology services, utilising a combination of substantive and
locum staff, supplemented with external commissioned assessments,
and that the cost of the contract is expected to be funded through
the existing budget allocations.
