Reasons for the decision
Authorisation was in place (Executive, May
2021) to renew the annual maintenance agreement for Parking CCTV
enforcement cameras with Videalert (Marston Holdings) until May
2026. The report sought approval to renew the maintenance agreement
for an additional year, through to March 2027, to align with the
procurement for the main Parking Services contract. The agreement
covers the maintenance of 33 enforcement cameras, which
are deployed to monitor and enforce compliance with ‘School
Keep Clear’ markings, Bus Lanes, and various Moving Traffic
Contraventions.
