1. 
The formal three year
extension of the Mission Care Nursing Care block contract be
approved, the extension period commencing from 2 January 2025 to 1
January 2028 at an estimated £12.4M for the period of the extension. The proposed
extension presents value for money when compared with the rising
cost of placements and the local market as set out in 3.8 and
3.9. 
 
2. 
It be agreed to increase the weekly cost of nursing
beds as set out in the accompanying Part Two report from
2nd January 2025 for new placements.
