1. 
The
information be noted and the procurement of End of Life
(EoL) Digital & IT infrastructure
and the proposed work to be undertaken to upgrade and replace the
platforms as set out in this report be agreed.
 
2. 
A capital draw down of £6.5m
from the Capital Programme to undertake
delivery of the
Digital & IT transformation project for the period 2024 and
2029 be approved.
 
3. 
The use of
the London Procurement Partnership Framework and the current
service provider, BT, to deliver the upgrades and procure the
services and supplies detailed in the report be agreed. Where, in
the opinion of the Director of Corporate Services, a separate
procurement is required or desirable, it be agreed to delegate
authority to the Director of Corporate Services in consultation
with the Portfolio Holder, to authorise the use of an appropriate
framework or alternative procurement route.
 
4. 
The Digital
& IT strategy attached as Appendix 1, including acknowledging
the approach of equipping colleagues with the digital skills and
tools needed to achieve the Council’s ambitions, empowering
colleagues to seek out and optimise
digital opportunities to deliver efficiencies and savings and
enabling colleagues to innovate for the future be
endorsed.
