Purpose
To provide an update on the Greater Cambridge Transport Strategy and to recommend to the Combined Authority Board to approve the accompanying interim technical report prepared by Steer as the agreed interim strategic position for the emerging GCTS (Appendix A).
Decision
It was resolved to:
A Note progress to date on the Greater Cambridge Transport Strategy (GCTS) and the planned route to formal approval in November 2026, in accordance with the agreed Statement of Intent
B Recommend to the Combined Authority Board to approve the accompanying interim technical report prepared by Steer as the agreed interim strategic position for the emerging GCTS, recognising that further work will be required in the lead-up to completion in November 2026 (Appendix B).
