Purpose

This report
seeks approval of the re procurement strategy and award of a system
to support the Revenue, Benefits and Business Rates service. It is
proposed to award contract to the incumbent provider, Civica
Services UK Limited, who will continue to migrate the current
platform onto a cloud hosted, managed service for the OpenRevenues
application to allow for continued delivery of statutory services,
where the current contract ends on 18th May 2026.
 
This recommended
award is to call off from the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Back
Office Software (BOS) 2 framework for a period of 2 years 6 months
for a total aggregated value of £993,704.
 
The combined
procurement strategy and award report will subsequently be
presented to the Director of Finance for approval in line with
Council Contract Standing Orders.
