Purpose

To consider modifications to the Camden Leisure Management Contract, which oversees management of the leisure facilities within the Borough.

Decision

RESOLVED –

(i)                 THAT the Camden Leisure Centre Management Contract be modified so that GLL can operate the centres as an ‘agent’ for the Council rather than the ‘principal’, as set out in paragraphs 3.1 to 3.9 of the report; and

(ii)                THAT the Camden Leisure Centre Management Contract be extended for a period of five years from 2030 to 2035 as set out in paragraphs 3.10 to 3.24 of the report.
