Purpose

This report records a grant award of £38,000 to the Richard Cloudesley Outreach Service (RCOS) for the delivery of the Camden Habilitation Service for children and young people with visual impairment for the period 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2027.

The service provides specialist mobility, independence and daily living skills support and contributes to Camden’s priorities to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to thrive in learning, health and wellbeing.

The previous contractual arrangement for this service expired, and this report seeks to formalise the continuation of provision through a grant agreement.

The Director of Health and Wellbeing has the authority to take this decision because the Camden Constitution requires that all grant decisions below £25k in annual value are made by the Executive Director or the Director of Health and Wellbeing.

Decision

On 25 June 2025, the Director of Health and Wellbeing agreed the award of a grant to the Richard Cloudesley Outreach Service to deliver the Camden Habilitation Service for the period 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2027.
