Purpose

This report is for the award of a contract to provide design services for decarbonisation works to be undertaken at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre. This project is funded by the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS).

The procurement was undertaken using a mini-competition from the Fusion 21 National Framework Lot 8 (M&E Services).

The award of the contract to AtkinsRealis UK Limited is based on their submission being the most economically advantageous tender in respect of the award criteria set out in the Tender.

This report is coming to the Director of Property Management because under C4 of the Council’s Contract Standing Orders (CSOs), a Chief Officer may approve contracts between £501,001 to £1,000,000.

Decision

THAT the appointment of AtkinsRealis UK Limited to provide design services for the Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre Decarbonisation project at a value of £503,583.16 and for a duration of 28 months be approved.
