Purpose
This report confirms funding to enable Commercial units developed through the Community Investment Programme (CIP) to be fitted out to Cat A (also known as White Box) standard from the developed Shell & Core Condition. It also agrees a specification is developed for Non-Residential properties within future developments.
This report is coming to the Executive Director Investment, Place & Opportunity (IPO) because it is a further Capital expenditure under the Development Division of IPO and is therefore delegated to the Executive Director IPO under the Constitution. It will then be advised to Cabinet as part of the variation in Capital Expenditure.
Decision
(i) THAT funding be granted to enable the fit out of the 5 currently vacant Shell & Core Units as well as to the 3 new units currently being completed to Shell & Core condition within the Abbey Regeneration, Phase 3; and
(ii) THAT a specification be developed for non-residential units within future Community Investment Programme Schemes.
