Purpose

This report outlines details of the Council’s proposal to convert an existing general disabled bay outside 104 Malden Road, NW5, to a loading only bay and relocate the general disabled bay to the opposite side, by converting 6.6 metres (m) of resident and market trader parking and convert 6.1m of paid for parking to a resident and market trader parking, and seeks approval from the Chief Engineer, for its implementation.

The purpose of this proposal is to better meet the needs of local businesses, while ensuring that disabled parking and market trader parking provisions remain available.

The proposal meets the aims of ‘We Make Camden’ by supporting local businesses to create strong economic growth as a way of reducing inequality in the borough.
