Purpose

To consider procuring services from the Greater London Authority Zero Carbon Accelerator and RE:FIT 5 Framework to run a mini tender for energy efficiency works at Brecknock Primary and Langtry nursery (Phase 1), and subject to funding, other schools and corporate sites to a maximum of £13.2m contract value.

Decision

Consideration was given to a report of the Director of Property Management.

DECISION –

THAT the Leader agrees:

i)            To the procurement of services from the Greater London Authority Zero Carbon Accelerator and RE:FIT 5 Framework, to run as a mini tender competition to appoint a service provider to deliver energy efficiency works at Brecknock Primary and Langtry Children Centre;

ii)            That subject to grants received, the RE:FIT procurement framework is used for the delivery of energy efficiency works to the Council’s educational facilities and corporate buildings noting that the work may have a maximum value of £13.2m;

iii)            To delegate award of individual contracts under the framework to the Director of Property Management in consultation with the relevant Cabinet Member; and

iv)            Following the agreement of the Chair of the Resources and Corporate Performance Scrutiny Committee, that the above decisions be exempt from call in, for the reasons set out in paragraph 1.3 of the report.
