Purpose

This report seeks approval to allocate local Community Infrastructure Levy (‘local CIL’) funds to community projects assessed from 3 April to 15 June 2026 - the projects are listed in the Recommendations section below. The projects have been assessed by officers to ensure they are in line with the CIL regulations and the Council’s assessment criteria for local CIL allocations, as set out in the case officer reports in Appendix 1.

Under the Council’s Constitution, the allocation of Camden CIL funds is a matter delegated to the Executive Director Investment, Place and Opportunity.

Decision

THAT local Community infrastructure Levy funds be allocated as follows:-

(ii)                LCIL738 - Think and Do Toy Swap - £4,500

(iii)              LCIL741 - Age UK Camden Good Neighbours Scheme - £51,120

(iv) LCIL744 - Building Strong Foundations - Somali Youth Development Resource Centre - £25,000

(v)               LCIL746 - Heads Up Camden Square Transitions Project - £10,000

(vi)             LCIL750 - Covent Garden Community Partnership - £49,543

(vii)           LCIL754 - Camden Gardens Improvements Railings Upgrade - £35,000
