Purpose

This report seeks agreement to the annual release of grants to Camden Disability Action and the Autism-Hub as part of the long-term partnerships that the Council has with each organisation. These partnerships are designed to share power with our Disabled and Autistic residents enabling them to lead changes to tackle the systemic roots of inequality that exist for Disabled and Autistic residents in the borough.

This report is coming to the Director of Adult Social Care Strategy and Commissioning because of a delegation agreed by Cabinet on 16th July 2025. 

Decision

THAT, following consultation with the Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care:

(i) having considered the annual review and assurance set out in the report, the release of £180,000 grant funding to Camden Disability Action for the period 1st October 2026 to 30th September 2027 be approved; and

(ii) having considered the annual review and assurance set out in the report, the release of £268,660 grant funding to the Autism Hub the period 1st October 2026 to 30th September 2027 be approved.
