Purpose

Responding to a comprehensive
needs assessment, Cardiff’s Housing Support Programme
Strategy was published in 2022 and set out the single strategic
direction for homelessness prevention and housing-related support
services in Cardiff for the next four years.  It identified and set out the key priorities for
the Council and its partners.
 
Welsh Government have requested
that we carry out a light touch review of our needs assessment,
consider any significant developments or changes to policy or
external factors that may have had an impact on the strategy since
publication, and refresh any strategic priorities if
necessary.
 
The mid strategy review will
set out refreshed strategic priorities and will also contain an
analysis of responses to the Homelessness Consultation which took
place between July and September 2024.

Housing Support Programme Strategy 2022 – 2026 be
approved.
