The report (paragraphs 6-14) and
appendices 2-4 are exempt from publication on the basis that it
contains information of the description set out in paragraphs 14
and 21 of Part 4 of schedule 12 A of the Local Government Act 1972
and in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest
in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in
disclosing the information.

 

Appendix 1 of this report is exempt from
publication on the basis that it contains information of the
description set out in paragraph 16 of schedule 12A of the Local
Government Act 1972.
 
 
AGREED: that consent of the Council,
as sole shareholder of Cardiff Heat Network Ltd
(‘CHN’), be granted to the proposed Settlement
Agreement between CHN and the Heat Network Contractor (Confidential
Appendix 1) to resolve issues which have arisen in relation to the
contract for the delivery and operation of the Cardiff Heat Network
Project.
 

Reasons for the decision

To approve the settlement of
contractual issues which have arisen between CHN and the Heat
Network Contractor in an amicable and affordable manner, ensuring
the continued delivery and completion of the Heat Network
Project.
