Purpose

Cardiff Council has been designated as the Lead Local Flood
Authority (LLFA) under the Flood and Water Management Act 2010
(FWMA) and as such has several statutory duties. One such duty of
the LLFA is to develop and adopt a Local Flood Risk Management
Strategy ensuring the application and monitoring of the strategy
throughout its life cycle.

RESOVLED: that
 
 

1.      the adoption of the
updated Local Flood Risk Strategy 2025 be approved.

 

2.      the local flood
risk strategy be submitted to The Welsh Government for review.
