Appendices 2,3,4 & 5 are not for publication as
they contain exempt information of the description in paragraph 14
of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act
1972.
 
AGREED: that the Council proceed with
taking a surrender of the long leasehold interest as set out in the
report, and simultaneously agree a new
lease of the premises to a new occupier on the Heads of Terms
provided.

Reasons for the decision

1.The property provides an
opportunity for the Council to rationalise and ensure more
effective management of the Council’s Investment
Estate.

 
2.The acquisition of this leasehold
property provides a long-term strategic opportunity.
