The report (and its appendices) are not for publication as it contains confidential
information as defined in the Local Authorities (Executive
Arrangements) (Decisions, Documents and Meetings) (Wales)
Regulations 2001 which if disclosed would result in a breach of
confidence as referred to in Paragraph 4.1(b) of Section 4, Part 3
of the Council’s Constitution. The report or part is not for
publication as it contains exempt information of the description in
paragraph(s) 14 and 21 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local
Government Act 1972.
 
AGREED: that
 

An agreement be entered into to
host a future event in the city as set out in Confidential Appendix
A (the draft form of agreement) and authority be delegated to the
Head of Economic Policy and Partnerships and the Operational
Manager, Principal Solicitor (Prop & Planning) in Governance
& Legal Services, Legal Services to take all necessary steps to
finalise the terms of agreement.

 

Reasons for the decision

To enable Cardiff Council to
sign the agreement to host a significant major event in the
city.
