AGREED: that the procurement
process for the services outlined in Phase 1 of the Housing Support
Programme Strategy Commissioning Plan be authorised for a period of
up to 7 years (5 years with option to extend by up to a further 2
years).
 

Reasons for the decision

To ensure continuation of vital support
services to homeless individuals and families and to survivors of
violence and abuse.
To ensure best value is achieved through
proper procurement activity and to ensure compliance with
legislation, Council processes and Grant Guidance.
 
To  make  the  best 
use 
of  available 
funding  to  deliver  essential  support  for
vulnerable people and families in housing need.
