Purpose

To seek approval in principle
for land purchase within the Housing Revenue Account to ensure the
council is able to maintain the scale and pace of delivery of
additional affordable homes to meet on-going housing demand.

exempt from publication pursuant to Paragraphs 14, 16, and 21 of
Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972.
 
RESOLVED:
that
 

1.      
the progress being made in delivering new affordable
homes across the city, both within the Council’s own
development programme and more widely with Partners, be
noted.

 

2.      
the acquisition of building plots within Central
Quay identified within this report, at the value identified in the
Confidential Appendix A and in line with the Heads of terms
detailed in Appendix B, be approved.
