Purpose

To obtain approval from Cabinet
for Cardiff to lead in the procurement of the replacement
collaborative framework for the non-domestic building maintenance
framework. The new collaborative framework will be led by Cardiff
Council on behalf of the following Authorities:
 
• Cardiff
Council
• Vale of Glamorgan
Council

RESOLVED:
that
 

1. 
the content of the report be noted.

 

2. 
the procurement proposals as detailed in this report
for the New Collaborative General Building Construction &
Maintenance Framework as set out in the report be
approved.

 

3. 
authority be delegated to the Director of Economic
Development, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Investment
and Development, the Section 151 Officer and Director of Governance
and Legal Services,  to deal with all
aspects of the procurement of the proposed framework (including
finalising the lotting structure, setting the evaluation
methodology, commencing procurement and award of successful
contracts to the framework) and thereafter to deal with any
ancillary agreements and ancillary matters.
