AGREED:
that a Pre-Contract Service
Agreement (PCSA) be entered into with Wates for Block B of phase 1
of the Channel View regeneration project. The value and cost breakdown of the PCSA is shown in
the confidential appendix 1.
Reasons for the decision
The PCSA for Block B of phase 1
is required to allow Wates to progress with design changes required
to meet impending changes to fire regulations, and to look at value
engineering and redesign options to ensure this scheme is viable
before progressing to a JCT contract.
