Appendix 1 and 2 to this report is exempt from
publication on the basis that it contains information of the
description set out in paragraphs 14 and 21 of Part 4 of schedule
12 A of the Local Government Act 1972 and in all the
circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the
exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the
information”.

 

Appendix 6 is exempt from disclosure as it contains
information pursuant to paragraphs’ 16 of Schedule 12A of the
Local Government Act 1972 on the basis that it contains information
in respect of which a claim to legal professional privilege could
be maintained in legal proceedings.
 
AGREED: that
subject to the approval of the Full Business Case by Welsh
Government (as referred to in the report), the tender for the two
new buildings for the Court School via the SEWSCAP3 Framework
Agreement, be awarded to Kier Construction Limited.
 

Reasons for the decision

To enable the
project to progress and meet the required completion
date for the school under the Sustainable Communities for Learning
Programme.
