Appendices 2 and 3 to this report are exempt from
publication on the basis that they contain information of the
description set out in paragraphs 14 and 21 of Part 4 of schedule
12A of the Local Government Act 1972 and in all the
circumstances of the case, the public interest in
maintaining the exemption
outweighs the public interest in disclosing the
information.
 
AGREED:
that
 
1.   
The contract award of 6 Flying Start Childcare
Services, as set out in the body of the report, after a successful
commissioning approach, be approved.
2.   
The abandonment of lot St John Lloyd, contract
number C1785CCC, for the reasons set out in this report, be
approved, with alternative arrangements to be sought and approved
in accordance with the Council's scheme of delegations.
 

Reasons for the decision

To continue delivering Flying
Start Childcare Services as set out by the Welsh Government
targeted Early Years programme.
