Appendix 1 to this report is exempt from disclosure as it
contains information pursuant to paragraph 16 of the Local
Government Act 1972
 
AGREED
that:
 
1.   
The proposed procurement route be authorised, and
tenders be invited via the SEWSCAP framework
Lot 7 in order to procure a contractor to deliver the agreed phase
1 works at City Hall.
2.   
The evaluation criteria set out in the report be
approved.
 

Reasons for the decision

In June 2023, Cabinet provided
approval and delegated authority to deliver the proposed interim
strategy for City Hall, part of which includes the phase 1
maintenance works.
 
Commencing the procurement will
ensure that a contractor is appointed, and works can be concluded
by Autumn 2025.
