AGREED: that
1.
Tenders be invited for replacement supported bus
service contracts from all the suppliers in Lot 7 of the
Dynamic Purchasing System for Passenger
Transport (DPS).
2.
The tender exercise be subject to the caveats set
out in the legal advice set out in the report.
3.
The tender evaluation criteria set out in the body
of the report be approved.
Reasons for the decision
To enable officers to speculatively tender and award
replacement supported public bus service contracts via Lot 7 of the
DPS provision so that the individual contracts can be advertised
and then awarded in accordance with the Councils Contracts
Procedure Rules once funding streams are known. This will ensure
that there is no break in service for these bus services.
