AGREED: that To the bid
submitted by Telcom Networks Ltd be accepted for the delivery of
Phase 2 of the Local Broadband Fund for gigabit capable fibre
broadband to be provided to areas which are currently poorly served
by the commercial marketplace.
 

Reasons for the decision

1.   
In order to deliver Gigabit capable broadband to
premises which current receive a sub-30Mbps service

2.   
In order to address premises identified as high on
the Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation

3.   
In order to address premises identified as being
excluded from commercial roll-out plans and so at risk of being
left behind.

4.   
In order to meet the requirements of the Local
Broadband Fund awarded to the Council in 2022.
