Appendix 1 to this report is exempt from publication on the
basis that it contains information of the description set out in
paragraphs 14 and 21 of Part 4 of schedule 12 A of the Local
Government Act 1972 and in all the circumstances of the case, the
public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public
interest in disclosing the information.
 
AGREED that the variations to
the Flying Start childcare contracts referenced within this report
be approved, to enable them to accommodate additional children as
identified within Phase 2A and 2B of the Flying Start expansion
from June 2023.   
 

Reasons for the decision

To deliver on the Welsh Governments expansion of
Flying Start childcare.
 
·        
To utilise capacity with existing contracted Flying
Start provision (where possible) to ensure that children are
experiencing high quality provision.
