AGREED
that Sue Thomas be appointed as the new
Independent Chair of Cardiff Youth Justice Board for a two-year
term of office from 1 July 2023 to 1 July 2025.
Reasons for the decision
To
ensure the appointment of a new Independent Chair to lead the
Cardiff Youth Justice Board in accordance with the legislative
requirements of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and statutory
guidance issued by the Youth Justice Board for England and
Wales.
