Appendix A
is exempt from publication because it contains information of the
kind described in paragraphs 14 and 21 (Appendix 1) of parts 4 and
5 and paragraph 16 (Appendix 2) of Schedule 12 A to the Local
Government Act 1972
 
AGREED:
that
 

1.   
the use of the Frameworks set out in the body of the
report be approved to procure the services of contractors to carry
out remedial work to St Isan in order to accommodate people on a
temporary emergency basis.

 

2.   
The tender exercise be carried out subject to the
caveats set out in the legal advice contained within this
report
 

Reasons for the decision

A Cabinet Report was presented
in December 2023 which highlighted the Housing Crisis and the need
for additional emergency accommodation, it has been identified that
the former Care Home in St Isan could be converted to house single
people on a temporary basis. The main building work will be subject
to a mini-competition on the Planned Maintenance Framework and the
Electrical work will be via the Electrical testing and repairs
framework direct appointment to Starlight Electrical.
