Purpose

Cardiff was successful in being
accepted to membership of the World Health Organisations Global
Network for age friendly cities and communities in March 2023. A
core element of our membership was the development of the Cardiff
‘Working Towards a city wide Age Friendly City Action plan
which outlines our aspirations to make Cardiff a better place to
live for Older People. A new action plan is now in development for
Cabinet consideration.
