The City Bridge Foundation Board is responsible for the day-to-day governance, management and administration of City Bridge Foundation, the working name of the charity Bridge House Estates (charity reg. no 1035628), in the discharge of the City of London Corporation’s functions as Trustee on behalf of the Court of Common Council, acting solely in the best interests of the charity.   The Board is responsible for the furtherance of the charity’s primary and ancillary objects, being respectively the maintenance and support of five Thames bridges and the distribution of income surplus to that required for the bridges for broader, and more general, charitable purposes within Greater London.
