Housing Management and Almshouses Sub (Community and Children's Services) Committee

To be responsible for Social Housing (i.e. the management of the property owned by the City of London Corporation under the Housing Revenue Account and the City Fund in accordance with the requirements of the relevant legislation and the disposal of interests in the City of London Corporation’s Housing Estates (pursuant to such policies as are from time to time laid down by the Court of Common Council).  The Almshouses is responsible for the management of the City of London Almshouses, a registered charity (no.1005857), in accordance with the charities governing instruments.   The full responsibilities and duties of the Sub-Committee can be found in its terms of reference, available at Appendix 1.
