The Executive Mayor and Cabinet
RESOLVED to;
 
2.1 Endorse that the Council
consider a selective licensing scheme in the private rented sector
and delegate authority to the Corporate Director of Housing, in
consultation with the Corporate Director of Sustainable
Communities, Regeneration and Economic Recovery, the Executive
Mayor and the Cabinet Member for Homes, to evaluate a potential
scheme and, if appropriate, propose and consult on such a
scheme.
 
2.2 Note that any final
proposals, following consultation, will be reported to the
Executive Mayor and Cabinet for a decision.
