Purpose
The report seeks a variation

this extension is £1,406,000*
The proposal is to obtain a 2
year extension to allow enough time to scope new contract
arrangements.

amount was subsequently identified as being incorrect after this
initial forward plan publication with the correct amount being
£4,783,894.

Having carefully read and
considered the Part A report and the requirements of the
Council’s public sector equality duty in relation to the
issues detailed in the body of the reports, the Assistant Chief Executive in line
with the Annual Procurement Plan AGREED:
To agree an extension by way of variation from
1st April 2024 until 31st March 2026 for
Public Health Service contracts that are delivered in Primary Care
Settings as listed in appendix 2 of this report.
To agree the maximum budgeted value for this
variation and for the full 24-month extension of £771,354,
resulting in a new total contract value of £4,783,894 across
all contracts.
To note that the total contract value has been
amalgamated to cover the expenditure of all 5 contracts. Individual
contract values have been outlined in section
1.2.
