Purpose

Windows design, Fabrication and
Installation contract for 36 months (a second term extension) up to
31st March 2028.
 
The contract for the
installation and replacement of windows comes to an end in March
2025. 
 
There is provision within the
terms of the contract to extend it for a further term.  However, the high level of spend against the
contract so far means that there is not sufficient headroom within
the contract for it to be extended without also being varied to
create room for continued spend.

For the reasons set out in the
report, the Corporate Director for Housing
AGREED:
 
a)   
Approve a permitted contract extension for the
delivery of Windows design, Fabrication and Installation, with
Anglian Ltd for a further 36 months until 31st March
2028.
 
b)   
Approve a variation of the original contract value
of £25m to a new value of £31.25m, an increase of
25%.
