exercise. •The contract was awarded at a total contract value
range of £160m - £210m, with an annual value of
£10m - £12m maximum. •The Council has the option
of no-fault termination clause of 12 months and 18 months from the
contractor perspective. •This is a second extension as an
initial extension of 3 years is due to expire 31st March
2024.

Approve the exercise of the
remainder of the second permitted contract extension option for the
delivery of Planned Maintenance and Improvement General Building
Works contract with Mulalley and
Company Ltd until 31st March 2027 at an annual value of
£6.5m. The anticipated contract budget
for the extension period is £19.5m. and the
maximum total contract value at award was £210m, therefore
spend remains within the original envelope.
