The Executive Mayor and Cabinet
RESOLVED;
 
2.1 To review and endorse the
multi-agency Self-Harm and Suicide Strategy 2025-2028 attached at
Appendix 1, including the priorities and proposed activities
contained within, and the multi-agency governance arrangements
underpinning delivery of this agenda.
 
2.2 To note that the strategy
has been developed by the Council in conjunction with local
partners, and requires partnership between agencies to deliver its
objectives, including the voluntary sector, NHS, education, railway
colleagues and Police. This partnership exists most visibly through
the borough’s Multi-Agency Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention
Steering Group.
 
2.3 To agree to receive an
annual report of progress to deliver the Suicide and Self-Harm
Prevention strategy, to be produced by the multi-agency Suicide and
Self-Harm Prevention Steering Group, to ensure Members are kept
informed of key developments and provide an opportunity to update
Member’s knowledge and understanding of the topic.
