Purpose

The purpose of the report is
to request an extension by way of variation in line with
Croydon’s Tender & Contract Regulations 30.3 for the
Asset Based Housing
Support Service with the provider Hestia for a period of 11
months from 1st November 2023 – 30th September 2024 beyond
the original contract term.
The service provides support
services to vulnerable Croydon residents of over the age of 18
years with Mental Health needs who require housing related support.
The contract supports adults to maintain their tenancies and avoid
crisis escalation. The service provides one to one support to
individuals for a period of time to help
during a period of difficulty.
 
The extension period will be
used to design a specification for a new support service that
aligns with local and national strategic priorities and
incorporates service users with both learning disabilities and
mental health.

making a total aggregate contract value of

Note that the actual aggregated
spend value including the extension period is £1,293,000 due
