As delegated by the Executive
Mayor in the August 2025 decision (Appendix A) and for the reasons
set out in this report and its appendices, the Corporate Director
for Children Young People and Education (CYPE) is
recommended:
 
To formally accept the
Department for Education’s (DfE) offer of grant funding
(£780,000) under the Complex Needs Open Children’s
Homes Capital Investment programme now the formal grant offer
letter (GOL) has been received from the DfE – please see
Appendix B.
