Content
For the reasons set out in the
report, the Executive Mayor and Cabinet, AGREED:
2.1
To approve the
process described in this report for awarding Croydon’s
annual DfE HAF allocation, expected to be approximately
£1.6–£1.7 million per annum across
2026–2029 and confirmed at £1,655,340 for
2026–27, derived from the wider MHCLG Local Government
Financial Settlement within the Children, Families and Youth Grant,
of which the HAF element is ringfenced, for the delivery of Holiday
Activities and Food provision for each holiday period in accordance
with DfE requirements.
2.2
To delegate
authority to the Corporate Director for Children, Young People and
Education in consultation with the Executive Mayor to manage and
approve funding allocations and award grant agreements to
successful applicants and take any necessary operational decisions
relating to the HAF programme.
