additional value of Funded Nursing Care (FNC) which the Authority
pays to the provider but is claimed back from the NHS to support
Nursing Care bed provision. The current FNC rate for 2023-24 is
£219.71 a week, which has been used to calculate this
cost. The uplifted
FNC rate for
2024-25 is currently unknown but will be included in the budgeted
costs once it is confirmed. This additional value is only
applicable to 30 of the beds out of 150.
